Show up at the WSOP and get paid (March 16th, 2010)
This year UB.com is paying you a minimum of $1000 cash just to show up. Here’s how it works.
The bonus prize pool is progressive, so the more UB players in the WSOP*, the more colossal the bonus will be. 75% of the prize pool will be split among ALL participating players and the remaining 25% will be shared among those who cash in the main event. The UB progressive cash bonus adds up with these bonuses:
If 52 players show up and play for Team UB, the total prize pool will be $260K ($5000 x 52 players). 75% of the prize pool will be shared equally by all 52 participating players and they will receive $3,750 IN CASH ($260K x 75% divided by 52 players). If 2 of these players go on to cash in the main event, they will each receive an additional $32,500 IN CASH ($260K x 25% divided by 2 players). If nobody cashes in the main event, all 52 players will equally share the entire Progressive Prize Pool and receive $5,000 IN CASH.

A Medal-Worthy Promotion for the WSOP (February 1st, 2010)
The world is descending on Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and you can close in on some world-class events of your own by participating in CarbonPoker February player promotion.
There are two parts to the 2010 CarbonPoker Winter Games, and two huge groups of prizes to play for. In the Olympic Alpine Poker Championship, you can win cash prizes and seats at the World Series of Poker just by earning VIP points. In the Olympic Nordic Combined Championship, you can earn cash by ranking on the VIP point leaderboard. You can opt-in to play for one or both just by logging into the gaming admin.
Between the two events there is over $25,000 in cash and 7 WSOP seats available, so now's the time to get playing (ski/snowboard experience won't count for VIP points, but it couldn't hurt).
