Betting Mobile: Business Evolution and Growth Forecast

We’re quickly moving into the new year of 2014, and the world of betting is rapidly changing during this thrilling period of the 21st century. Betting is an ancient art form that has been consistently utilized through a combination of wit, knowledge and luck for hundreds if not thousands of years.

In the past, we’ve had to head to the casinos of Vegas or Atlantic City to make the majority of our bets on vacation, while spending (and mainly losing) lots of money. Or maybe you’re possibly a fan of horse races, which have historically attracted tremendous international pools of money within Kentucky. What if all of these aspects of the games will be transformed into an electronic state, beginning in less than a month? Well interestingly enough, part of this change is already occurring right this moment.

The United Kingdom is one of the current leaders in the worldwide market of betting mobile applications – being a supreme proponent of betting, along with Asia, where gambling is a hugely flowing but regulated market. What’s interesting about these two cultures is that they allow sports such as tennis or cricket to be bet on down to each single point. This creates hundreds of in-play bets for those two games alone, per match. While tennis matches can be bet on down to each point, cricket can be bet on through each bowl. What’s best of all is that this can now be in down in real-time interactive mobile environments. If you’re at the shopping mall, a restaurant, or virtually anywhere at any time – you can continuously place bets on every point if you’re that dedicated to your favorite player or team. Hopefully you have massive faith in them.

The United States is closely following the paths set by the UK and Asia, as legislation within the States is loosening up every day. Legislative bills are working through city and state governments in sort of a following of Nevada and New Jersey’s recent actions. This only makes sense because the vast market already exists, but in an old-fashioned sense. Now things are about to seriously pick up once American bookkeepers continue merging their businesses into the forms of mobile apps, websites, and fully electronic-based networks. The opportunity and freedom of betting mobile will definitely be welcome as a dream by gamblers all throughout the country after many years of constraints and limitations brought by regulators.

This is ultimately going to create a new industry going into 2014, attracting people who are already in the business to make extreme mobile-based changes, while also attracting entrepreneurs who will opportunistically take advantage of this blooming international market. Texas holdem poker will soon likely be a mobile game of choice within the United States for betting purposes, as people will have more control over their bets as opposed to electronic roulette or more random chance-based games. If the National Football League or Major League Baseball can be more widely bet on throughout the United States in a mobile manner, you can assume that this industry is going to blow-up in a massively attractive way.

With people always testing their competitive edge in the world of betting, making mobile betting more widely available in 2014 and beyond will only promote bigger, faster and bolder betting – which is a timeless sport in itself, that will always exist. As long as men continue to seek excitement and bragging-rights through sports every single weekend, this predominantly-male pastime will continue to flourish.
